Is it possible to run XP and Vista on my F3SC? If it is, is there a guide somewhere that will guide me through the process.

Also, I sent in my battery a while ago (it was defective) and I got a new one back but it was a little tight fit (I thought it was still normal...). Anyway, now there is a crack on the bottom left corner near the battery that's bulging more and more everytime I have the battery attached. Will Asus cover this in warranty? I didn't send it in right away because I needed my laptop for class. If they'll take it in, how long do you guys think it'll take? I live in the U.S but the laptop is from Hong Kong. Thanks!

From what I heard the Asus service is excellent in the U.S but cannot experience this since I live in Aus. Im pretty sure your battery problem will be covered under warranty because if the "palmrest crack" is covered under the warranty I dont see why a crack on the battery case isnt. Not to sure about dual booting XP and Vista thing because I havent done it before, but from reading more about your model Asus states that it is XP compatible so I dont see why it cannot dual boot with XP and Vista.

Check this thread for discussion about the case crack issue in the F3 series. As for turnaround, you're probably looking at 7-10 days (or less depending on Asus NA volume in Fremont for warranty work).

You'll need to find XP drivers for the F3 (XP downgrade discussed here). You'll also need to read about how to set up a dual boot system, which you can find online with Google unless there is one here someplace.
