Hello everyone, just want to ask how can i set my s96j to dual view. Say i'll attach an external LCD to view a DVD movie, while my laptop LCD displays my desktop or say an application simultaneously.

    Many thanks in advance

You can toggle the options via FN+F8, it should toggle between LCD, CRT or LCD+CRT.

As well, you can tinker around with your video drivers.

Actually (in WinXP) what you need to do is go to Display Properties (rightclick menu in desktop, properties; last tab), click on the icon for the 2nd monitor, and say "Extend my Windows desktop to this monitor".

What coriolis has said will do something different: display the same image either: on the LCD of the laptop, on the external monitor ("CRT" although it can be an LCD of course), or on both.

Oooh, missed that part. You can do that in Display Properties as well, but for me, it doesn't turn on both LCDs until I go into LCD+CRT mode first.

Yes, you can configure it in your drivers client or using Display Properties.

It is really useful. I do the same thing right now also with both my laptop and desktop.
