Haven't posted on here in a while. I'm having 2 issues.

1- Task manager is showing duplicate processors. For ex, ATKOSD.exe which I think was drivers for asus lights, keyboard and such, flash plugin, WmiPrvSE.exe is showing up 3 times, my wacom processor is showing up twice.

2 - My external hardrive is now running insanely slow. F drive shows up but trying to browse though it takes years to open

    Things I've recently done:

    Installed latest realtek
Uninstalled unnecessary programs (ex. Microsoft visual studio, autodesk, etc)

    Things I've tried:

Used partition manager but my drive is showing up as "invalid"
Tried uninstalling my drivers for that hardrive but it took way to long (and didn't uninstall in the end)
    restarting

    edit - hardrive issue fixed.

    1. are you seeing ATKOSD.exe and ATKOSD.exe * 32 - I am and this is normal
Just to compare- with 1 browser window open (win 7 home - G73) Task Manager show 69 processes with show processes from all users checked on.

Its normal? hmm, never noticed it before. Just to make sure, I am seeing ATKOSD and ATKOSD 32, but I'm also seeing...

ccsvchst *32 appearing 4 times (norton security). Exact same name each taking memory. This is normal?

    edit - also seeing flashplayerplugin_11_5xxxxx.exe *32 twice

My brother fixed it. He said he managed to get it working in partition and used the repair function I believe.
