What I thought was a dead pixel turned out to be a speck of dust in the LCD. When I blow air it moves somewhat but it wont move anymore. Help!

Recently Pdx-1.1 posted about an ant inside his display. While his speck could at least walk away, he did mention something that may also help you. Turn off the display, let it cool down and then see if you can remove the speck.

Gently use a vacuum cleaner through the mic hole or maybe around the edge of the screen with light pressure with your finger? Maybe lightly tap the sides to move it? I wouldn't use a can of air as that might spray liquids inside or apply to much force. I can't really say with any certainty as I've never been in this situation before.

That certainly would be another way. ;)

Sorry, I don't have anymore ideas.
