Does anyone know how to get the e-mail light to work? Can this be used with Thunderbird?

There is a little driver that needs to be installed if it's not already...... It's meant for outlook, but I can't see why it wouldn't work with other mail programs.

I find it's sort of a curse to see the grain. If you see it once you start noticing it everywhere.
Again, if you want to see it just make a solid grey image in photoshop (try a couple of different shades because the grain is stronger in some than others). Then after you have the image, open it in a window and move the window around. It's easier to see the grain this way because it looks like there's something on your screen that's not moving with the image. It's looks almost like a dirty screen.
Anyways, this problem is really bad if you do any serious work in photoshop and it's somewhat irritating watching movies or doing anything with moving graphics. Personally I need my laptop for the next month to finish school but one that's done I'm taking it back to hopefully get the display replaced. If anyone else decides to send their laptops back please post if you get any results. -

... did someone respond to the wrong thread? It's obviously either that or one of us fell off our rocker.. Can someone either remove or explain this post above?

Yeah, I am a little confused too. I don't see anyway that could be about this. TheDoubtfulGuest, what are you talking about?

I'm pretty sure TheDoubtfulGuest wanted to respond to the "S96J Owners Lounge" thread where they're discussing the grain of the screen.
