Hey people I'm having tons of trouble getting Exact Audio Copy to work on the w3v and was wondering if anyone else had any trouble. I have the OEM tssftcorp DVD-RW and although EAC recogizes it whenever I put in a music it keeps telling me there is no audio CD in the drive.

Before you mention copy scheme, I tried putting in a music CD back from the 90's and it still won't recognize it. I haven't tried it on the desktop but I don't remember having such a problem with EAC.

But yea if anyone would like to download EAC and give it a whirl I'd appreciate it; it's actually a great program to have. Power supply busted on the desktop so I can't tell if the problem is with the w3v DVD drive...

ok fixed the problem. under EAC options, go to the interface tab and make sure "native win32 interface for XP/NT/2000" is checked. for some reason "installed external ASPI interface" was checked on mine.

cool, now i can go rip my new CDs and put them on the iPod. definitely EAC is the best ripping program out there!
