Hi everyone. I've looked all over the net and everywhere says that the XP version of the EEE 901 comes with 12 gig flash disk space, but when I looked at the price listing of a store near my house, it says this:

    INTEL ATOM, 8.9"WSVGA, 8GFLASH+4GSD, 1GRAM, 11N, BT, 1.3MP, XPH WHT

Is that a typo and it's supposed to be 12GFLASH with another 4GSD? Or is the flash space actually just 8 gigs and it comes with a seperate 4 gig SD card? I'm quite confused because no where else mentions this, and I can't imagine this store having an EEE901 with a different configuration to what's standard.

It has 2 disks like almost all other EEEs with more then 4gb. It has a internal 4GB SSD and a 2nd internal 8GB SSD. Total space 12GB.

Ahh.. So it's not an SD card like I originally assumed. Thanks for that!

Would windows XP be installed on the smaller 4GB SSD?

Yes. The 4GB SSD is faster than the 8GB SSD.
