    Well I just picked up a 901 refurbished for about $200. Its my first netbook and I had to get it because my old laptop is just too bulky and the battery life is crap. Already got a squaretrade warranty in case something should go wrong. Just wanted to know if there's anything I should look out for/do to make sure it doesn't have issues. Are there any problems with these netbooks I should know about? Its not outdated is it? Basically just going to be using it for typing up lectures in class/web browsing.

    I don't know of any outstanding issues. You may want to head over to eeeuser.com or a similar eee community, since people here are mostly notebook people (although there are some with quite some netbook experience).
