    EEE PC 901 12G vs 20G

    Asus official says 901 12G (XP) can run 7.8 hrs but 20G (linux) can only run 6 hrs at max.
    Anybody know what causes that?
    How's the battery life if I put XP on 20G?

    I wouldn't rely on those "official numbers" too much. Check out reviews, see what the real-life battery life is. As to cause of any difference, maybe different hardware, or maybe smaller battery on the second. I don't think the larger size of the SSD matters in this respect, unless they are actually two devices on the 20G version (although I am not sure about this).
