    Hi,

Im thinking of buying an Asus EEE 700 4G to use it only for downloading torrents.
I will have it on 24/7, my question is if the EEE can handle this sort of labour?? Is it fragile or can it do it problem free?

Would anyone advise against this? Has anyone had any problems with over heating?

    Thanks

It would work, but I just use and old Pentium 4 1.5GHz desktop as my seedbox. Why not opt for something cheaper like that? Pretty much any old desktop can handle what you want to do. Or any old laptop for that matter.

Yeah, what Hep! said. Don't spend money on another computer just to download/seed torrents if you already have an old PC/laptop sitting around somewhere. But if you don't, sure pick up the EEE. It should do what you want.

Thanks for the replies. I bought it, very happy with it.
My other laptop is 17 inch so the ASUS's size will come in handy.

I just had one last question, I had read that resolution can be improved with certain driver. Can someone please give me a link for the driver?

    Cheers
