I bought an eeepc 700 last week and just installed XP today.

I've heard that you can hack the screen up to 1024x768 without panning and I'd like to do this.
But... I just don't understand how this is possible b/c I thought they only had 480x800 Pixels in the screen. If they had more pixels in the screen, why didn't asus make the drivers for the screen higher?

Anyway since it's possible, what's the easiest way to do this?
And how do I do this?

    Thanks IA :)

I am not sure if this is true, but two things to consider:
    1) The quality will be very low
    2) The font will be small and because of the quality it will likely be unreadable.
