    Well, I should say "easier"..

Bear in mind you will be removing the top, keyboard area and not the bottom piece.

    Here it is..

With the battery removed, turn the notebook over on it's top and look in the battery bay. You'll see five little snap hooks along the bottom (reference to up-side-down) of the bay.

Very carefully, and with just enough force to have them release, (they will bend and break) push in on the hooks with a small, flat screwdriver. Pick a screwdriver that just fits inside of the slots.

Next, turn the notebook right-side-up and open the screen. In the gap between the bottom of the screen and the chassis, grab the keyboard top with your fingers and gently pop the snaps free. Work your way down the sides from back to front.

Since I only wanted to swap the HDD for an SSD, I propped the keyboard top up with a heavy plastic straw and used a book to keep it from sliding away. I don't like to disconnect keyboard ribbons if I don't have to because they can be a pain to re-connect..lol

Just a heads up. When re-installing the drive into it's bay, be careful not to snag the white wire (ant lead for radio??) with the mounting bracket. Push it out of the way and tuck it in afterwards.

    Reverse procedure to re-install.

I did not unscrew the MB because 4GB RAM and the CPU are fine for me.

    Good luck!
