I've got an Eee 1000H, 160 GB netbook ordered and arriving soon. What is everyone using for a security suite? I've never used XP Home (used XP Pro on my old systems; using Vista Ult. now), and my current systems all have Norton Internet Security 2008 installed. I can't imagine installing Norton on the Eee w/out bringing it to a complete standstill. But I plan to use my Eee for a lot of Wi-fi-based browsing, etc., over my home network, which is connected to a Linksys WRT600N. The Eee has to have a security solution that won't allow any creepie-crawlies to infect it, and from there to my main desktop system.

So what do you folks who use Eee's use for a security suite?

I use AVG 8, Zone Alarm Free, and Spybot w/Tea Timer. Works out great for me on my 1000H. The nod32 it has is great, but expires in 3 months :/

Symantec Antivir Corporate + Sygate Personal Firewall. I'm an old fashion guy. :)
