When I first fired up my Eee pc I was able to select 1024x768 and it scaled quite well, I have now reinstalled windows 7 as I did not want the starter version and now I can only select 1024x600.
I know the model can handle the higher but how do I force it to allow me to select it?
Many Thanks

Is the Intel GMA/UMA driver reinstalled? (a question for noobs but hey, we all make mistakes
lol)

It has an Intel 3150 driver and a pineview driver both installed but still does not give me the option to move from 600-768 for some reason?? It only has a GMA sadly no ION like the US model
Desperate need of help with this im stuck in a hotel wanting to play FM2012. -
Uninstall/Reinstall the driver? Thats the only thing I can think of that would cause that (the driver)
Wait, you want to force it above its resolution? lol ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Eee- ASUS Eee PC 1015PN -
Honestly crappy I am not seeing things when I was using the starter kit it allowed me to select 1024x768 and the screen adjusted to that resolution that was the max I could select. Now since reinstalling it only allows me to select 1024x600.
The screen can clearly handle the res even though it looked scaled up it worked.I should have left it as windows starter.. the bloody hdd was in my stolen JH lol so I cannot get it back.

Its faking you out then brother lol I now remember that, as my 1015 did the same. Its max rex is only 1024x600 (and it should even say recommended next to that option) but it allows you to change to x768 to force a change in theascept ratio, thats it, it doesnt actually increase the res.
After I noticed this I just left it at x600, then again I had the ION2 ;D aha it was a beast little netbook *sigh* sometimes I regret selling it and getting the TF.
If you, for what ever reason, like it with the odd aspect ratio, im sure theres some other program you can get that would do something similar.
