    So I'm thinking about buying an Eee with my Xmas money but i know that the second gen is coming out in April of next year. Is it worth it to wait? Thanks for the help

    Its either $299 or $399...I would get it, if the second gen is that much better then buy that too.

    How are you sure it will be updated in April? And thats a while to wait IMO, though I am very impatient.
