I mean you can't help but wonder sometimes what's making you buy this laptop (i'm considering this) even though the price is 500 USD more.
When you calculate it, Asus has, better processor, better GPU, better construction, better warranty, swivel cam, but that's all it has over the HP.
It's still worth it, right?

Well you kind of answered your own question...the better processor, better GPU, better construction, better warranty, and swivel cam all together is worth about $500 to me (a 3 year warranty alone would be $200 through HP I believe). There's also the free goodies ASUS gives you (Targus carrying bag and wireless mouse by Logitech) not to mention the fact that there would be tax associated with buying an HP, whereas there is no tax when buying a V2S through an online retailer...correct me if I'm wrong there. Also, it isn't nearly as overpriced as a similarly configured Sony SZ, which I was considering buying before for college until the V2S popped up.

just making sure cuz I don't want to have buyer's remorse after the purchase...
helps when you have complete justification for products bought. -

it's worth it, plus you got the spill-proof keyboard just in case

Short answer: yes.
Even though the HP dv2500T is 500 cheaper and almost the same specs as V2S-A1, V2A-A1 is worth it, right???
