Correct me if i am wrong...

All of the vents that are on the bottom of the notebook are intake fans whereas the only exhaust fan is the one that is located in the rear of the notebook.

I felt all the vents and the only one that has any sort of air coming out of it was the one in the rear.

It depends on what model you have but I think generally the vents on the bottom of the laptop are intake and the vents on the back/side are exhaust.

You are correct... however some models have their exhaust vents on the side.

I have the Asus A7J. I was thinking about modifying a "pci slot fan" to get more hot air out of the laptop...

If you want to cool your laptop, just get a cooling pad, or is your laptop a portable oven, in which case you have other problems you need to fix?

My G2 has the air intakes (2) near the right and left side of the keyboard. It's way better for gaming in bed :p :p
