    Express Gate Problem in Asus N61JV

    I have been using Asus Express Gate enjoyably since the day i bought it from Amazon.com; however, until just yesterday i cannot use the Express Gate anymore.

    This is what happens:
    When i press the Express Gate button on the n61jv speakers, it brings me to the asus express gate environment. But after i click on Web/music/ skype etc.. the screen blinks* or flashes* black once and returns back to the Express Gate screen. A few seconds after that blink*, my laptop turns off ( as in completely powers off by itself).

    I tried reinstalling the Express Gate from the Utility CD but to no prevail is it successful.

    ~~~ In the period between Express Gate working and not working, i have run several virus + spyware scans, some disk defragmentation, and registry clean-up softwares by Norton.~~~

    Is anyone else experiencing this?? I really wish to use the Express Gate feature again. Thank you to those who can or attempt to help me. :eek:

    There may be a newer Express Gate version on the Asus website. Try install that and see if that works.
