i recently got the UL30A, and the express gate in the notebook has a squished screen... things are stretched out horizontally. how do i fix the aspect ratio? i looked in the express gate options and couldnt find the option to change the screen resolution or aspect ratio.

Sounds about right, I forget what res it runs at on the G50 but I want to say 800x600 which is then all stretched out to the screen.

ExpressGate is Linux and without a config utility it usually comes down to editing the x.conf file which i dont think you can even do. Only suggestion i can think of is see if there is an update for the expressgate on your model, even if there is i doubt it will change this.

yes it is a dinosaur from a different age and does not allow a change in resolution.
