I have an Asus Q500a and I'm trying to find an extended capacity battery for it. The 4700mAh one it has is tolerable, but I came from an old brick of an Acer Aspire with a 9 cell extended battery that not only added battery life, but a nice hand grip for carrying the computer (its a very solid machine).

I found a massive list of Asus systems that use the same battery, but so far I have yet to find anything more than a 6 cell for any that are compatible.

I don't mind added thickness or weight, or buying third party.

Do they just not make extended batteries for systems like this?
