    Extended warranty to 3 years fo G50VT-X1 in Australia

    I am going to buy a Asus G50VT-X1 spec wise in Australia and i want to know if i buy the 3 year extended warranty will it be capable with the G50VT-X1 which only has 1 year warranty.

    I'm not sure how Asus warranties work in Australia, but if they're anything similar to the US, then you must have the standard 2 year warranty in order to qualify for the 3rd year warranty extension. For example, the Best Buy Asus notebooks that come with a 1 year standard warranty does not qualify for the 3rd extension.

    That's was i was thinking. Since the G50VT-X1 only comes with 1 year warranty and not 2 years it might not be eligible for the 3 years extended warranty.
