    I Have K53sv Notebook with Windows 7 64bit OS .... i Just Buy an External Simple USB Keyboard and try to use is at fist it work fine But after reboot the windows Did not Recognize it " Unknown Device " after Searching Net i try to Unplug the Power and Battery reinstall USB Drivers in Device Manger ... it work Again But also After Reboot The windows Do not Recognize it .......... i try this keyboard on PC computer and it work fine ... try Flash Memory and Optical mouse in all USB port of notebook and all Ports are Working fine ..... Any Suggestions for this problem

    You have done a lot of the troubleshooting already, Did the keyboard come with software? If it did, I would go to the KB manufacture's website and download and install the latest driver.

    You know, this is just a shot in the dark, but try updating the Intel INF drivers too. I've found that can sometimes help out.

    i Just try anther keyboard in my notebook and it works fine may by it old keyboard compatibility with 64bit system but i am sure now it was not hardware problem
