I have this really bad flickering on my external LCD (LG 204WT). I am leaning towards blaming it on the VGA connection/X1600 on my w3j as I tried couple other monitors and get the same annoying flicker. I tried playing with refresh rates, but it doesn't seem to have any effect whatsoever. Have anybody experienced the same problem?

    To try to help:

    1. what resolution are you outputting and is it the native res for that screen?
    2. what drivers and what version of those drivers are you using?

3... I output to external monitors day in and day out, and using many asus models over many years..... of late, have output four different models w/ x1600's on various screens and never had a problem.

..... I'd be curious about the cables to those monitors, as I've had problems there... whether it be the pins or the actual connection itself... but I can at least tell you that it's not normal and if it is infact the system, it's something Asus would take care of for you.

    Thanks for trying to help.
    1. I am outputting to LCD's native resolution - WSXGA+.
    2. Using the latest Omega drivers now, but before that had stock Asus drivers.
    3. Cable is the one that came with the monitor. I need to try to hoop up another laptop to it and see if that would change anything. I really hope it is not the w3j though. Perhaps I am emitting some strong electromagnetic currents...don't know how toi fix that.
