My x1 was shipped with an Intel WirelessPRO 4965AGN

I noticed that when I tried to connect to anything, no connections showed up. I also tried at work (which always has a connection) and no connected showed up. Is there something I have to do to activate it or something? I really don't see why it wouldn't work out of the box.

do you have the proper drivers installed? you can check by going into your device manager and seeing if the network card is installed under network devices. if there is a yellow question mark next to it, you need to install drivers/

also. there is a hard switch on the F3 series located in the front of the unit by the status indicators. make sure the switch is turned on, and the orange status light for the wireless is on.

Tried both, could there be a possibility that the network card is broken?
