Hi,
I want to buy an ASUS, with integrated graphics and about 1000$. Alternatives are F3f, A8F and Z96 series. There are some complaints about A8 mouse buttons, also since I want to use notebook in home, 15.4" is better than 14". Z96 is not ensembled, so F3 series may be better. Moreover, ensembles have global warranty, which is important for me. But there is no review on F3F, and it is hard to decide on it. F3JM has good reviews and it seems it should be a descent machine, ofcourse not like V or W ones. But seems to be better than A8 and Z96 (true?).
Is it the same for F3F? Can we consider F3F exactly the same as F3JM (same build quality, motherboard, RAM, optical drive, keyboard, hard disk, ...) but without dedicated graphics, XP Pro and higher resolution ?
Please also tell me that do u think a merom one (ensembled), with integrated graphics would be available soon ?
Thanks.

I wouldn't say either is better than the other.. it just depends on your requirements. For some people, 14" A8 is better because it's more portable with the same power as in the 15.4"'s like F3 and Z96. Some like yourselves prefer the 15.4".
As for Ensemble or not, if you purchase from a reputable dealer, I'm sure their warranty which covers the Z96 will be just as good as ASUS'... the exception being if you travel globally alot.
For the same price, I'd choose the Z96J since it'll give you dedicated graphics and the ability to customize according to your wants, but then again I'm not sure about the pricing for F3F, or even if you can find it around.. (ps. depends on where you are, the North American version of F3Jm is just WXGA instead of WSXGA+ ) ... so if you need higher res in NA, maybe the Z96J is the only solution for you.. -
No comment on F3F ? Please help.
F3F, A8F or Z96 ?
