I formated the whole 120GB hard drive on my Asus F3JP to install XP over Vista without backing up MBR, however I managed to made a copy of Recovery Partition.

I created 3 partitions (Recovery, VistaOS and DATA) to reinstall Vista and also copy the content of Recovery Partition back to its place. However, now F9 function (recovery) doesn't work any more .

Could someone help me manually record the original partition table on the F3JP using tools like Ptedit32 or MBR tool?

I am very appreciated, if someone can help.

Just a comment, it's not surprising that it doesn't work. :)

An F3JP user would need to help you here.
