Just to ask, since I am thinking of using Linux as my primary OS... does anyone know if there are any issues running the F3JP with, say, the latest Ubuntu, or some other Linux variant? I am leaning toward Ubuntu but am open.

Also, I was thinking of fdisking it and setting 3 partitions, 1 storage, 1 linux, and 1 windows. Since it comes with Vista Home Premium, I was thinking of installing that. If I do, is it possible to get a clean install with the CDs that come with the laptop? I know I saw posts about getting a clean install with the XP CDs in the past, but not the Vista CDs.

Also, any issues with removing the restore partition? And if I do, since I know that they won't support the software at that point, if I ever had to restore it, can the whole HD be restored from the provided CDs to a 'factory' condition?

Linux has a little trouble with Bluetooth, and WiFi if you don't get the right chipset. If the F3Jp has an Intel chip, it'll run Linux sweet.
