I have the F3JP AK...., basically X1700 GPU, 2ghz CPU, and found the palm rest under my right hand (i assume it's where the GPU is) was getting too hot under light workload conditions. Anyway, i had the 207 bios and just updated to the 208 bios, and now my lappy runs nice and warm (not hot) when surfing the internet. So to all F3JP owners with older BIOS and this problem, update to the new 208 version found on their website, at least it worked for me.
(On the website, it says this update corrects something wrong with the ATI card, so maybe that's it.)
Just a heads up. Good luck!
