    Greetings everybody.
I just got a F3JP. It's my first laptop so I'm very happy with it.
I've flashed it with the F3JP207.T00 and the grain is over. I also updated the display drivers to 7-4_vista32_dd_ccc_enu_44985 with the procedure explained in Mobility Modder. I was so please to look at it after this.
But then, I plugged in a externar 17" CRT screen and started using dual display, and I noticed the F3JP screen blinked once in a while. It's like it goes off and on for half second, maybe less. I unplugged it and worked all afternoon without a problem (Photoshop and Corel Draw). After a couple hours of work, I wanted to watch a Simpsons episode, so I'ce accessed the DVD and double clicked one off the Divx movies I had. And the screen flicked off and on again.
I'm scared. Is this happening with anyone?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards

This happens to me when my Z80k connects and refreshes to a CRT. But not afterwards. Roll-back your video drivers and see if it persists. Also, what dual display program are you using, the standard one or a third party? Lastly what kind of flicker? A back light flicker or total monitor flicker?

This happens with the A8jp too. Theres nothing wrong with it, its either the drivers or the card. I've tried tons of driver revisions, nothing helps.

Thank you very much for the fast replies.
i'm not using a third party program to manage the dual view. Just the windows Vista built in. The other monitor is a 17" CRt.
The Asus screen goes black and then image again. This happens very fast, maybe 1/3 second.

Make sure that your laptop and monitor have proper ground connections.Problems like this arise when the grounding is not proper, in some cases it might even damage the laptop
