    Hi,

I've been searching the web for a solution to my problem or to find someone else with the same problem with no luck. I'm running Vista 64-bit btw.

This is something that is 100% reproducible... whenever I put my computer to sleep or hibernate I can't get it to start properly without it hanging and distorting the screen. I'm able to resume when having the cord plugged in, but when trying to resume on battery the screen gets distorted and the computer locks up. It's very annoying because whenever I want to use it on batteries I need to start up the laptop from being turned off, OR pull the cord while its running. I'm unable to resume on batteries. Vista reports it being a graphics problem.

Anyone else having this problem? Or you know what I should do?

I noticed the same problem with my A8HE. The notebook otherwise works fine, but whenever I fold the display down, wait few minutes while the green led light goes off, open the display and try to switch it on the notebook does not respond at all.
    Solution:
I have to take the batery out, unplug it from AC and then put back batery. Then I am able to switch the notebook on again and it works fine.

The problem is that this occurs also when I shut down the computer and try to start it.

    I suggest:

    1. VGA driver update.
    2. BIOS update.
