Well im torn between the two. The only reason why I would go with the F3SA is that i had a G1S-A1 and returned it because of the constant stuttering. The reason for it is they say it was the Nvidia chipset, see the F3SA has an ATi. I play alot of wow and ut3 so im lookin for the best one. Do they perform the same or is the g1s better?

go with the one that got GeForce
now are days, GeForce is better than ATI -
Well, aesthetics aside, I would go with the G1S. Like kvehh said, between the 2 cards, the nvidia card is better.
Also, the F3 is the consumer line, so quality may not be as good.
It has also been confirmed that in the F3S V lines, the 8600M GS has been crippled (through cut pipelines I believe). I'm not sure if this holds true for the F3SA with the Radeon 2600, but it would be worth looking into. -
hmm good point

Could it be that you just had a bad card on your G1? Or do most G1's perform with stuttering?
-
Many have the problem, as I gather it...
You should also be aware that there have been many reported instances of F3 palmrests developing a crack in the corner of the keyboard. So the build quality is (much) less than stellar... On top of the crippled GPU (if that is true), I would say the F3 is not a very good option.
Did you look at the F8? I'm not sure what GPU it has but I saw it in a store this weekend and its build quality is reasonable to my judgment. (some screen flex but that's in all the notebooks) -
thanks ill take a look into the f8

Thats the F8 Series. See again though I had the g1s with the 6800gt. I loved the performance of the thing in UT3 and WoW but I couldnt take that stuttering issue. If i were to go with the F8, since it has the ATI HD 2600 wouldnt i see a performance loss compared to the 6800GT? -
G1S-B2 has much better spec and I think it looks better. I am not sure what price you have heard for F3SA but you can get G1S from zipzoomfly for 1499 AR. Good luck
F3SA-A1 or the G1S-B2?
