Hello people![]()
im new here, im interested in Asus (f3sv-a1 or b1)
is good to upgrade the laptop to 3 gb of ram or is not necessary?, is good to pay for one (2 gb) memory to have 3gb in the laptop?
- what happened with Dual channel?
- is more fast my laptop?
- what is the reference memory for this model (f3sv-a1 or b1)?
- manufacturer? (G-Skill, corsair, patriot, PNY, Kingston)

these are the differences between the two laptops:
A1 - C2D t7300 cpu and 1440x900 resolution (WXGA+)
B1 - C2D t7500 cpu and 1680x1050 resolution(WSXGA+)
(every other spec is identical, or close, these are the major differences)
personally, i dont think 3GB of ram is necessary, but it depends on what you will use your laptop for
and, i ordered this ram with my laptop (havent gotten it yet, so i hope it will work but i bought a F3SV-A1)

the Dual Channel will work or the laptop doesnt use the dual channel?
but 3 GB is good for this laptop? (photoshop, flash, games, and ...)
manufacturer? (G-Skill, corsair, patriot, PNY, Kingston) the best? -
Unless you handle huge images in Photoshop, you won't need 3GB.
If you buy 2G and add it to an existing 1GB, AFAIK the RAM will run in "asymmetric' dual channel, (roughly) i.e. the first 2GB of RAM will be dual channel but not the top 1G.
Dual channel performance increase is almost 0 for regular users, so no worries there. -
ive heard alot of good stuff from corsair, but as long as the ram has a lifetime warranty, just pick the cheapest one.
F3SV-A1 OR B1 (Upgrade to 3 GB of RAM)
