I was just wondering if the upgrade to the B1 is worth the extra money. The resolution is higher and the proccessor is about .2ghz faster (if I remember), which is all well and good, but is this upgrade really worth the price? I found it on Buy.com for the same price that newegg.com was selling the A1.

I am a mild gamer on a small budget (otherwise I'd definitely go for the g1), so would the small increase do me alot of good? I know the prices are technically the same (between the two sites), but saving money is alays nice :p

    Thanks :)

EDIT: Also, is Buy.com a reliable site? Are there products brand-new?

Higher resolution is a huge selling point in my mind. Low resolution isn't good for multitasking and is expensive to upgrade later.

Yes, the upgrade from WXGA+ to WSXGA+ may be well worth the extra cash.

I love mine. I think the only real gripe F3SV owners have is that the 8600gs is under-clocked and that it is not a 8600gt. Other then that, if you are looking for an all around performer (moderate gaming, moderate entertainment to high, moderate to high work load, and a moderate to high Vista experience) this is the one to choose.

Sounds great. I was definitely a bit bothered by the 8600gs, but I can live with it. I plan on throwing in 2 more gigs of RAM, which should help.

But the question no one has answered: Is Buy.com a reliabe site?
