I'm thinking of throwing some more RAM in my F3Sg, as it's so cheap at the moment, but I'm not sure what to get. The Asus web site says it takes DDR2 667Mhz, but looking around I've seen there's also DDR2 800Mhz available.

My model has the T7250 processor (so 800Mhz FSB), and a santa rose motherboard. I understand that the DDR2 800Mhz is backwards compatible to 667Mhz, but I was wondering whether it would run at 800Mhz in my system? If not, then the 667Mhz is slightly cheaper, so I'll go for that.

I don't think it will, from what I've read in answers to similar questions, Santa Rosa only supports 667 MHz RAM.

But this is not the result of my own research so I can't be sure.
