    Hi there,
the "CTRL" key has popped off the keyboard on my Asus F3Sg laptop. Does anyone know how to put it back in? There doesn't seem to be any damage, its just come off!

Is there a hardware service guide available to dismantle it and get to the keyboard?

    Thanks!

If you're lucky, you can just snap it back into place (line it up and push it down) and it will work fine.

If not (i.e. the scissor clip is broken), you're going to be better off buying a replacement keyboard, which are fairly inexpensive at $15-20. For replacement steps, see my post here.

thanks for that. It seems to have clipped back in properly. I thought I'd have to take the keyboard out to do it!
