Have my trust F3Jp and have recently upgraded to W7.

Since then my headphone socket now does not seem to do anything.

I have looked in 'manage audio devices' and it says I have the correct driver (from Windows) but nothing happens when I plug in my headphones (should they appear as a device?

I use my headphones all the time (travel a lot) so this is a big deal for me!

    Anyone help??

    Update:

Have been wiggling my phones in the socket and at a special angle (about halfway in) it does cut the speaker sound and one earphone works

Does this mean its a hardwear problem?

Am I going to have to take it apart to check this?

It sounds more like a hardware problem.
If you have a different set of earphones try them also.
