I'm thinking of purchasing the Asus F3JR which has T7200 2GHz, 2gig ram, ATi X2300 video.

Can anyone comment on the battery life of this laptop and also how much heat and noise comes from this particular machine.

Also would the X2300 be suffice for very casual gaming including CS and maybe a bit of Guild wars. Don't need max settings just playable if I decide to play.

thanks , feel free to comment on other aspects of the laptop as well.

I use the A8Jr, and there are few differences between mine and the F3Jr.
the X2300 is towards the lower end of the discrete video cards out there, similar to a x1300 or x1400. So, I believe it is suffice for casual gaming.

As for the battery life, I get about 2.5 to 3 hours, so expect 2 -2.5 hours or less for that machine due to the faster processor and the bigger LCD. The noise is not noticeable and the heat is minimal.

Well, there's my blurb. Hope it helps.
