Hey. My Asus Z71V recently overheated and is unfixable (unless I spend a small fortune). I am not disappointed, because I knew it was about time to get an upgrade. I am seriously considering http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220202 as my new gaming laptop. It seems like it will perform perfect with my choice game WOW, and newer games too (if I ever decide to play a new game).

I couldn't find any reviews on this laptop, so I was wondering if any current owners could tell me what they think about its gaming performance. Also, I was going to make the operating system Windows XP Pro, until a friend told me that XP pro runs on a 32 bit, and the F3KA-A1 wants a 64 bit operating system like the Vista. I am nervous about using Vista, because I have heard many negative things about it.

Thanks for any info you may have!

    -Sam

your friend is wrong - there is 32bit and 64bit versions for both xp and vista, so use xp if you like it and you won't have a problem - not to mention you don't have to use 64bit on this system - it doesn't matter at all, i would use 32bit xp pro because 64bit may run a tiny bit faster (you won't notice a difference) but it will lose compatinbility with some software/hardware

thats a good computer, intel is usually faster than AMD but it will def be fast regardless - has a good video card similar to the 8600gt which will play every game out today perfeclty fine and future games fine - good amount of ram and hd

i would buy it, put XP Pro on it and enjoy :)

The F3Ka is the same thing as the F3Sv, except with a worse processor and a better graphics card. Gautam did an excellent review on the F3Sv a while back, so you should probably read that.
