Hi everyone, my laptop one day gave me a blue screen and now has serious issues. When it boots it shows 6, yes 6, screens at the same time. I will attach a picture soon. Furthermore, it can never boot properly once it gets to the windows 7 screen it restarts. I can only use the windows startup repair tool or safe mode, which is shown in 6 screens by the way and none of the options fix my problem. I used an external monitor and although it shows one screen, there are still a lot of artifacts and I still cant get past the windows logo.
I don't think ASUS will do anything since I'm out of the warranty period. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like your GPU is dead.

My f3sv-b1 died about a week ago too due to the graphics card. Mine too is out of warranty, but i bought it with my master card so I have started the claims process for credit card warranty.
If not, then send it in to Asus for a free estimate of repair. -

Seems like I'm out of luck, the credit company which handled my purchase does not have a warranty plan and to repair the laptop requires a new mainboard which would cost 400-500 dollars. I've been reading about this problem and it's a shame that ASUS did nothing to protect its customers instead they would rather just let the warranty expire and leave people in the dust. I'm probably never going to buy an ASUS product ever again after this.
