Thinking about reccomending this to my close friend as a cheap entry level. What's the build quality like on this puppy?

The F50 series does look like it shares a similar chassis to the N50 series. It's probably too early to tell how reliable the unit actually is and what it feels like since it's not out yet, but like Red Dragon said, my best guess is that the F50 would be fairly similar to the N50 in terms of build quality.

As i said up there its an amazing deal for the money i mean when you look at those specs everything is good. The processor may need a lit update but most people who buy this wont even need alot of power its a great notebook.

I'm using it right now and the build quality is incredible for the price you pay and its lighter than I thought it would be.

Posting to this old thread because info on this model is so scare. Just got mine yesterday and build quality is very good. Very pleased so far. Everything is as good or better than expected. I will be posting an owner's review later this weekend.

A very nice looking unit, too.
