This thing is really screwing with me...
Ive searched alot of forums and websites, but still not any wiser.

For other models, you look for a screw(or 2) marked with "K", and its as simple as that.

However on this laptop, Asus F5R, i can not find the keyboard screw(s), ive literly unscrewed every screw on the underside of the laptop.
I know the procedure of un-attaching the keyboard from the frontside with the plastic hatches etc.

But where are the screws?! :(

on my U6SG there were no screws at all... might be the case here too??

Just try to access the back of the keyboard from behind and push gently from the back while holding down the latches with an old credit card.

Or with a new credit card. :)

Yeah, just pushing down the latches and trying to lift up the keyboard is one of the first things to try. But I suppose you already tried it.

You could call the ASUS service center and ask... maybe ask them for the disassembly manual although they are not too likely to release them to an end-user.
