So, I decided to go with the F8SA to get the portability I wanted without taking too big of a hit in performance campared to something with an 8600gt (and higher price tag). Ive noticed some of Asus's notebooks having a 9 cell lion batt that could be purchased. Since bigger=better when it comes to batts, I was curious if the F8 series had a bigger batt. Google gives nothing, and I checked gentech and excalpc with no luck. Anyone know where I can get a bigger f8 batt?

There won't be any larger capacity batteries available for the F8. Thanks!

Try something third party. I know for a fact that the APC UPB70 works, but it'll be pretty big but it'll most likely add like 5 hours to the battery life. UPB50 doesn't work unfortunately.

WOW! I didnt know those existed! Thatll work perfectly. I could just leave that badboy in my backpack and when I need the extra juice I just plug it into the laptop.

Are you sure about the 5hours thing? It's only 70WHrs after all, and that's roughly a typical 8-9 batt.
