    Hello,

I am considering purchasing the F8P for grad school and have a couple questions:

Black or white? (ive heard the white looks great, but is it too much on the eyes?)

T7500? Will I be able to get it with a new T8300/9300 penryn in the next couple of months?

Is the 2400 HD video card powerful enough to support everyday applications, photoshop, and video playback on an external monitor running at high resolution?

    Thanks for your help!

    1. The choice of color should depends on your taste. Which color would you prefer to have your laptop by, black or white? Both look very decent in my opinion.

    2. You should be able to swap out T7500, and replace it with a better CPU. However, keep in mind that any upgrade would likely yield little improvement (T7500 is fast to begin with), and will void all warranty.

    3. HD2400 should be very sufficient in running everyday applications, photoshop, and video playback (especially high definition). You can also take a look at F8Sn, which features Nvidia 9500M GS, for slightly better performance.

Colour choice really depends - do you want the laptop to show fingerprints (black model) or to show dirt (white model)? I went black on my W7s when faced with the same decision.
