Out of curiosity, has anyone ordered this? If so, what is the ETA? (Do you have a tracking number?) If anyone has recieved it, do you have any first thoughts/impressions?

I want to see comparison benchmarks of this versus the F8Sv-A1. Its only a hundred dollars cheaper than an identical (save for the GPU) F8Sv-A1, so its definitely not as good a deal as the A8Jp was compared to the A8Js (the p was $250 cheaper than the s, and had bluetooth to boot)

I wonder if the battery life will break 2 hours....(the F8Sv got 2:04)

The thing is though, OC'ing results on the DDR2 HD2600 are incredible, much better than the results I'm seeing on the F8sv-A1.

Sweet! what kind of numbers are you see'ing Odin? On what lappy and utils are being used to OC the ATI? My initial search didn't come up with anything concrete just a bunch of say so....

I'm really trying to decide between the two Asus gpu versions of the F8.

gamecops, can you share the link for the hd2600?
    i am also debating between the 2 F8 series and the F3SA-a1 which has a 512mg HD2600,
I dont know anything about OC.
Can anybody tell me if it's had to do? does it get really hot? do i need a new heat sink? and does it shorten the like of the chip if done correcly?
Preferably a comparison between the HD and the GT would be great!
    thanks
