    Hi. I'd like to share that i was able install Windows 7 (Enterprise Edition)on my machine (F8SN-C1). Initially, i was literally pulling my hair because of frustration but i am too lazy to revert to Vista so i just looked for solutions that worked for this laptop.

    I found a thread here by Aidar77 which helped me a lot.

    Most of the drivers i used are from the original CD that came with Asus.

    Video display i got from the Nvidia site. The problem area for this laptop will be:

    1. InfraRed Driver
    2. Fingerprint Scanner & Driver.

    Please visit this two sites in order for you to get the solutions for the two problem areas.

    i did a search around the web, and found very few proper solutions in English....
    for upgrading F8SN 32/64 to windows 7 64bit.

    I found a chinese (taiwan) webpage that had succeeded the process with minimal if not zero efforts/problems.

    hope this information is useful for all fellow F8SN users!!
    and i think it might also be applicable to other F8 users ;p

    The solution is to use F8VR drivers (the only one in F8 series that has windows7 driver atm), totally compatible according to the writer. some drivers even work better than before (most likely have been re-written for more smooth operations on w7)

    the only down side of upgrading from 32bit to 64bit OS i guess will be that some of the progs will no longer work, and some will need to be reinstalled with 64bit versions. but the screenshots rocks and so far most ppl loved w7!! so don't wait!! get it installed and enjoy the speed jump!! (F8SN sometimes lags... actually lags alot with VISTA, but so far funs smoothly on W7!!)
