Does anyone know if this is a 14" widescreen or a 15" widescreen? I have loked all over the Asus Canada website with absolutely no luck!!! It just says WXGA+
-
it's a 14"" WXGA+ screen @ 1440x900 res. (i googled it)
-
The f8Sv=A1 has a 14" screen with a resolution of 1280x800 and the F8Sv-B1 has a resolution of 1440x900
the B1 is way more expensive, but comes with better features, like graphics card and so on.. -
I'm a owner of F8SV-A1 and the resolution is 1440x900, I'm not too sure about B1. Also in terms of graphics card they are both GeForce8600m GT 256 DDR2 , if you want an upgrade to the ATi HD2600 (which I dun think it's worth the extra money because 8600mGT runs ALL the new games really well...) then the model is called F8SA.
please correct me if I'm wrong. -
azelexx, mostly F8Sv-A1, from what I read here, comes with 1280x800 resolution, except yours. Maybe because you are from different country?
-
I have read the same things about the A1 from the retailers online, including Excalibur.
The Asus website, under F8SV, lists the stats for the B1 i believe, which has the 2.4ghz and the 1440x900 but i could be wrong.
This is the reason i am going to pickup the B1 shortly instead of the A1.

I believe USA has the F8SV-A1(1280x800) with no media center remote or TV tuner.
-
Taiwan version doesn't have TV tuner either, sounds pretty cool tho I'd love to watch TV on my lappy XD. -
A1-1280x800
B1-1440x900
SA-1280x800
And last I checked the F8SA was the cheapest of the trio. -
F8SV? anyone know the screen size?
