Got my F8sv about a week ago, and two little problems have surfaced.

    1. Display does not automatically turn off after set time. I look around on google, and I could only find this thing for a HID Non-User Input Data Filter. But I know this is not my problem because microsoft says it only applies to microsoft mice.

    2. WLAN LED does not stay on after I reboot. This is more of an annoyance than a problem. Basically when I turn on the Wifi on my machine and reboot, the LED on the front turns off, but I can still connect to a network no problem. In fact its off right now as I type this.

    So guys, any ideas?

Badly written ACPI drivers & utils from ASUS.

Try an updated version of ATK and ATK Hotkey, if they are available on support.asus.com
