    Hey folks,

I'm considering heavily buying one of these, but I'm trying to keep my costs as low as possible. The reason I'm making this thread is that it seems to me these two models are very similar (at least in specs, though both also have good reviews) yet have a $200 price difference. XoticPC, for instance, sells the F8 for $1,160, while the m50 for $1,360. What gives? Is the m50 worth the extra cash?

For quick reference, here are the links to both: http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-m50sva1-customizable-laptop-p-2353.html

The M50Sv is a 15" while the F8 is a 14". There are also many features on the M50 that are not found on the F8. eg Altec lansing speakers, full numberpad, multimedia touchpad etc.

Take a look at Gentechpc's site as they offer the M50Sv-A1 cheaper.

If you are trying to keep cost as low as possible, go for what costs less - F8Sn-B1 in your case.
