Greetings all, this forum is amazingly informative. Lurking around here for a week has taught me more about computers than I have learned in the last 40 years.

One question about screen resolution on the F8sn-B1. The vast majority of the resellers list it with the WXGA 1280X800 screen. I have found one that is listing the WXGA+ 1440X900 screen. Can you tell me if it is possible for the F8sn-B1 to have the 1440X900 or do you think the reseller has made a typo?

    Any info appreciated.

Could you please to provide link to a reseller to check it out?
    My f8Sn-b1 has 1280x800

As far as I remember f8Sn-c1 has +screen resolution.

I think it's a typo. The F8Sn-B1 sold at zipzoomfly has the same sku as the one sold by other resellers. And like oldman said, only the F8Sn-C1 has the higher resolution 1440x900 screen.

Actually, every reseller/retailer says the F8Sn-B1 has a 1280x800 screen

Thanks for the replies. I assume it's a typo but I sent zipzoomfly an email asking for clarification.

It makes the decision easier since GenTech seems to have the best price and their service appears to be top notch. I'll be pulling the trigger on it in the next few days.

asus originally shipped f8sn-b1 with 1440x900. when vendors got them it was apparant that it was not. at that time asus reduced the price of the units. Not mass email was sent to vendors. Vendors were posed to figure out by them selves.
