    Dear All,

I just bought a 2nd hand Asus W2JB. I receive only the notebook, without any CD / DVD at all. The operating system is still original Windows XP Media Center Edition that came from ASUS.

Now I want to recover the Windows XP Media Center Edition to it's original state, just like when we first buy the notebook from ASUS by Pressing "F9 Button" on the first boot when ASUS LOGO apperared.

    But nothing happened.

I checked on the C: partition, the "Hidden Partition" is still there about 7GB of Hidden Partition.

Please advise how to solve this problem ?

Also how much do I have to pay if I want to buy the W2JB accessories, like TV Tunner Connector, Remote Control, Cable Connector, ect

    Thanks & Best Regards,

I have two that I built from scratch (pretty much).
I buy my parts from estore.asus.com
They are awesome and the prices are really good. I think you will have a hard time getting the software. I have most trouble getting the stupid wires the connect the motherboard. I think the Tv tuner, remote, and cable connectors are all for sale there. Good luck!
ps....If you flash to the newest bios you can put a Merom in it. I have a T7600 in mine and it's blazing up the place!
Hope this helps. You won't find many parts for it anywhere else. Even if you call them directly they won't sell you some parts seperatley.
    Regards
    BenB
